Born in the Caribbean, Raised in Nova Scotia. Solera Rum is a blend of Caribbean rums aged in American oak barrels which once housed bourbon. Sweetness from the rum’s cane sugar paired with smoke and oak make a perfect sipping spirit. Over the course of each aging year, the Rum gets transferred between barrels until the final product has seen the inside of 28 barrels. Each year 30% of the batch gets placed back into barrels along with 2 year old rum to fill the barrels.
